Finally finished the second year, and I'm finally able to show what I've been working on.
Comic about how people reacted to my snap happy attitude, whilst in San Francisco.
Done for a project about illustrating a novel of our choice, I chose to do a Storyboard of The Outsider.
The Map Project, where we created an illustrated map on the country of our choice. Mine concentrates on the Meso-American mythology that was situated in Mexico.
Photography project, based on the theme of blindness. Mine's about memory, and remembered events feature fractured images, rather than a complete image.
Done for a project called 'Identity in Society' , about 3 months ago. The idea of the project was as the title suggests, what identity do we feel we have within society. Mine dealt with how I felt my personality was formed partly by the effects of my parents divorce. A lot of flaws in how I tried to illustrate the idea, and could have chosen a better composition, though happy with how I made it.
Just a practice drawing I made in Photoshop, to explore drawing with the lasso tool and textures.
Here's something from my last semester, a paper-collage comic for a project about Alphabets. The idea was to express something as visually abstract as a conversation, with graphic symbols as a form of Alphabet for the spectator to read rather than written language. Parts of what I intended the characters to say get lost, but overall I'm pretty happy with this project.
(I'll try and get a better photo of this sometime soon)
